News: Miami-Dade car crash leaves woman and two girls hospitalized
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A car crash in Miami-Dade County Wednesday afternoon left three people hospitalized, according to WPLG.
The incident occurred in the area of Northeast 10th Avenue and Northeast 145th Street. It began when Miam-Dade Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a black BMW.
Police said the vehicle attempted to flee, and ended up crashing into a blue car at about 2:30 p.m. A woman and two girls who were in the second car were injured. The woman was taken to Aventura Hospital & Medical Center while the girls, ages 8 and 14, were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. They were all listed in stable condition.
Police said a man and woman in the car that tried to flee were detained at the scene. The police department added in a statement that at no time was there a pursuit of that vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
