News: Hit-and-run driver crashes into Miami Gardens building, sparks fire
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Authorities said a hit-and-run crash sparked a fire at a storage building in Miami Gardens Saturday night, reports NBC Miami.
Miami-Dade firefighters were dispatched to the scene after a car slammed into the building in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 156th Street.
The crash ignited a two-alarm blaze that damaged over 20 storage units in the building before it was extinguished. No injuries were reported.
Investigators said the driver of the car was not located after the incident. A witness reported seeing the driver and a passenger before they reportedly left the scene.
