News: Police searching for driver who struck, killed bicyclist in Sunrise
SUNRISE, FL – A man riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a vehicle in Sunrise Friday morning, WPLG reports.
Police said the bicyclist and a four-door car were both going north in the 3400 block of Nob Hill Road when the car hit the bicycle rider at about 6:30 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead after being rushed to Broward Health Medical Center. Authorities did not release his name.
The driver left the scene of the crash and is now being sought by police. Anyone with further information regarding the hit-and-run was asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers.
