News: Fiery car wreck in SW Miami-Dade leaves driver dead
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Police and first responders were at the scene of a deadly car accident in Southwest Miami-Dade early Monday morning.
According to WSVN, the driver struck a tree in the median on Miller Drive near 132nd Avenue at about 1 a.m.
The car overturned and caught fire, killing the driver, whose name was not immediately released. No other injuries were reported.
Firefighters were called to the scene to extinguish the flames. Miller Drive was shut down for several hours while investigators and emergency crews responded.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the accident.
