News: Fatal crash shuts down lanes on stretch of I-95 in Broward County
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A fatal crash shut down lanes along Interstate 95 in a portion of Broward County Monday morning, WPLG reports.
One person was reported to have died in the accident that took place on I-95 south just south of Sheridan Street at about 5:30 a.m. Details on what led to the incident have not yet been released.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the southbound lanes of I-95 were closed to traffic from Sheridan Street to the Golden Glades Interchange.
Motorists were facing extensive traffic delays in the area of the crash and were advised to seek alternate routes, including U.S. 441 or Florida’s Turnpike.
