News: Driver sought in hit-and-run crash on the Julia Tuttle Causeway
MIAMI, FL – Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on the Julia Tuttle Causeway in Miami Wednesday morning, according to WSVN.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the accident involved an Infiniti and a Nissan that collided near Alton Road at about 7:10 a.m. Emergency crews had to extricate the Infiniti driver, who was seriously injured and transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Investigators said the Nissan driver ran away from the scene on foot, abandoning the vehicle, and has not been located.
