News: Driver sought in fatal hit-and-run crash in Lake Worth Beach
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – Authorities have identified the driver sought in connection with the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian in Lake Worth Beach on New Year’s Day, according to WPEC.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said it is searching for 30-year-old Marcos Sanchez Morales. Investigators say he was driving a vehicle on North C Street when he struck a man who was in the road lighting fireworks.
The pedestrian was dragged by the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. Morales left the scene after the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
