News: Driver killed in 3-vehicle collision at intersection in North Miami
NORTH MIAMI, FL – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in North Miami early Monday morning, police said.
According to WPLG, there were three vehicles involved in the wreck that occurred in the vicinity of Northwest 119th Street and Northwest 7th Avenue at about 1:50 a.m.
Investigators said a Dodge, a Range Rover and an Infiniti collided, and the driver of the Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim, a man reported to be in his early to mid 20s, was not immediately identified. The driver of the Range Rover was listed in stable condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Infiniti driver was not hurt.
North Miami police are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash. One witness told police that one of the drivers was speeding.
The incident affected traffic in the area, as NW 7th Avenue was closed in both directions in the area of the crash.
