News: Driver flees scene after crashing into parked car in Miami Beach
MIAMI BEACH, FL – Police are trying to track down the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash in Miami Beach early Tuesday morning.
According to WSVN, the person was driving a Polaris Slingshot, a three-wheeled vehicle with one rear tire. Police say the driver crashed into an unoccupied parked silver sedan in the area of Collins Avenue and Ninth Street at about 2 a.m., and then fled the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which was captured on surveillance cameras from a nearby hotel.
The driver was last seen putting the vehicle into reverse and leaving the area after the crash.
Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
