News: Driver fleeing from police slams into Liberty City building
MIAMI, FL – Police said a fleeing driver slammed into a building in Miami on Tuesday morning.
According to NBC Miami, the driver of a white BMW SUV took off following an attempted traffic stop by police officers.
The crash took place at about 11:20 a.m. when the driver struck a building at Northwest 7th Avenue and Northwest 46th Street in Liberty City that is owned by Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
Three occupants of the BMW tried to get away on foot but were later apprehended. Police said they also recovered three firearms. No injuries were reported in the crash.
