News: Driver dies after vehicle goes into canal in Broward County
MIRAMAR, FL – A driver died after a single-vehicle accident in Miramar Tuesday night, reports WPLG.
Authorities said the car plunged into a canal in the area of Miramar Boulevard and University Drive in Miramar.
Divers and other first responders were dispatched to the scene, and a person was seen being pulled from the water.
The driver was taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The victim’s identity was not immediately released, and there was no word on what caused the vehicle to go into the canal. No one else was in the car at the time.
