News: Driver dead, 3 others injured after pickup hits SUV in Palm Springs
PALM SPRINGS, FL – A driver was killed and three other people were injured in a collision in Palm Springs Saturday morning, WPTV reports.
State troopers said a man was driving a pickup truck on 10th Avenue N. at 11:42 a.m. when he struck an SUV from behind near Henthorne Drive.
The impact sent the pickup truck off the roadway, causing it to crash into a tree and then hit a fence. The SUV also collided with a tree and a fence.
The driver of the pickup, a 27-year-old man from Lake Worth Beach, was pronounced dead after being taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center. His passenger, a 31-year-old man from Greenacres, sustained minor injuries.
A 74-year-old man who was driving the SUV and his passenger, a 63-year-old woman, also suffered minor injuries. Both are from West Palm Beach.
