News: Driver charged with Doral hit-and-run that injured 2 pedestrians
DORAL, FL – Police arrested a driver suspected of leaving the scene of a pedestrian accident in Doral on Saturday night, reports WSVN.
Two people, a husband and wife, were struck by a Ford Fusion in the area of Northwest 36th Street and Northwest 87th Avenue. The man was dragged a quarter mile.
The woman was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, but the man was reportedly walking and alert following the incident.
Authorities said the driver involved left the scene of the accident. The suspect, 30-year-old Danlesha Hall, was eventually apprehended and charged with two counts of aggravated battery along with charges related to the crash. She made her initial court appearance on Monday.
