News: Crash shuts down entrance to Florida Turnpike in Coconut Creek
COCONUT CREEK, FL – The Coconut Creek Police Department tweeted a traffic alert to drivers following a crash on Wednesday morning.
The incident shut down the entrance to the Florida Turnpike at Atlantic Boulevard, and was reported at 8:17 a.m. One person was injured and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No details were released on the person’s injuries or the circumstances that led to the accident.
The Turnpike entrance was reopened about two hours later. Police are continuing their investigation into the crash.
