News: Collision in West Palm Beach leaves 1 driver dead, 1 injured
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – One driver was killed and another injured when their vehicles collided in West Palm Beach Thursday morning.
According to WPTV, the collision took place on Okeechobee Boulevard near Andros Isle at about 6:30 a.m. Police said 33-year-old Oshanke King was driving a BMW X5 west on Okeechobee Boulevard at the same time that a Ford Transit 350 van was turning north on Andros Isle.
The vehicles crashed, and the BMW struck a pole before ending up on its side. King, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van, 38-year-old Matthew Feldman, suffered minor injuries.
