News: Bicyclist fatally struck by car in SW Miami-Dade identified
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Family members have identified the bicyclist who was fatally struck by a car in southwest Miami-Dade County earlier this week, WSVN reported.
This is an update to a previous story.
The victim of the crash was Baltazar Lux Terraza, a father of four. He was riding his bicycle in the area of Southwest 200th Street near Southwest 172nd Avenue at about 7 a.m. Tuesday when he was hit by a Maserati that left the scene. The suspected driver was located about a half mile away, but has reportedly told investigators that he was not behind the wheel at the time.
So far no arrest has been made in the case. Anyone with information was asked to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers.
