News: Authorities searching for driver who struck pedestrian in Palm Beach County
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – Authorities are trying to track down the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Lake Worth Beach earlier this month.
According to WPEC, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office released pictures of the pickup truck involved in the incident that occurred on March 12.
Investigators said 45-year-old Florindo Rodriguez of Lake Worth Beach was walking east on S. Dixie Highway near 10th Avenue south when he was hit by the northbound pickup.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.
The driver left the scene heading north following the crash. The vehicle deputies are looking for was described as a black Dodge Ram regular cab pickup truck with a large white sticker in the back window. Anyone with information on the incident was asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
