News: Alligator Alley rollover crash in west Broward sends 4 people to hospital
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A two-car accident on Alligator Alley in west Broward County Monday left four people hospitalized, NBC Miami reports.
The vehicles collided in the highway’s southbound lanes near mile marker 35, causing one of them to overturn while the other vehicle ended up in the median.
Emergency units responded to the scene along with the Florida Highway Patrol. The four injured victims were airlifted to the Cleveland Clinic and Broward Health Medical Center, but no information on their conditions was immediately released.
The eastbound lanes of I-75 were closed near the crash scene, causing extensive traffic delays through the area. The cause of the accident was not yet clear.
