POMPANO BEACH, FL – A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a crash in Pompano Beach that injured a woman and her son, according to NBC Miami.
Authorities said 58-year-old Jeffrey Thomas Ballard was driving a Jeep Wrangler north in the southbound lanes of South Dixie Highway Friday when the accident occurred at about 2 a.m.
The Jeep collided head-on with a Toyota Saris that was headed south. The driver of the Toyota and her 8-year-old son were transported to Broward Health Medical Center for emergency treatment of their injuries.
