News: Car accident on I-95 north in Vero Beach leaves 2 hurt
VERO BEACH, FL – A two-car crash in Indian River County left two people seriously injured, according to TC Palm.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident on Interstate 95 north near State Road 60 in Vero Beach Friday night at 8:47 p.m.
Investigators said a Honda Civic and a Toyota Prius collided in the area of mile marker 155. The driver of the Civic, a 24-year-old Pennsylvania woman, and a passenger in the Prius, a 30-year-old Navarre man, were hospitalized with injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening.
Authorities closed the northbound lanes to traffic for about two hours while the scene was being cleared.
