News: 2 injured in crash involving Miami-Dade Transit truck and box truck
OPA-LOCKA, FL – Rescue crews were at the scene of a collision between a Miami-Dade Transit truck and a box truck on Thursday.
According to WSVN, the two vehicles collided in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and Opa-Locka Boulevard in Opa-Locka.
First responders extricated two people from the wreckage and airlifted them to Jackson Memorial Hospital. No information was released on the extent of their injuries, or the circumstances that led to the accident.
Authorities diverted traffic away from the scene while the crash was being cleared away.
