News: 2 dead in crash on Hollywood Boulevard near I-95
HOLLYWOOD, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident in Hollywood early Friday morning.
WSVN reports a driver lost control while going from the Interstate 95 southbound exit ramp to Hollywood Boulevard at about 6 a.m., and crashed into another vehicle. No details were released on the identities of the people who died.
The westbound and eastbound lanes of Hollywood Boulevard were shut down near the scene of the crash, along with portions of the I-95 off-ramps.
Drivers were advised to use Pembroke Road and Johnson Street as alternate routes to Hollywood Boulevard while crews were clearing the scene.
