News: 1 dead, 3 injured in car accident in Palm Beach County
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A car crash in Palm Beach County last week left one person dead and three others injured, the Palm Beach Post reported.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a Buick Park Avenue lost control while going west on Southern Boulevard near Cleary Road in West Palm Beach Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m.
The vehicle spun counterclockwise and crashed into two palm trees along Southern Boulevard, investigators said. The suspected driver, 19-year-old Fredrick Lee, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers in the car, ages 18, 19 and 20, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
Debris from the Buick hit a Kia Soul and caused damage, but the driver of that vehicle was not hurt.
The sheriff’s office said charges are pending in connection with the crash.
