News: 1 dead, 1 injured in fiery crash in Palm Beach County
MANALAPAN, FL – A driver was killed and a passenger was injured when their car crashed in Palm Beach County Saturday, according to WPEC.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the 54-year-old driver was going north on Ocean Drive in Manalapan when the accident occurred.
The car went off the road and struck trees, a utility box and a gas line, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
The driver was trapped inside and emergency crews were unable to save him, pronouncing him dead at the scene. The man’s name was not released.
A male passenger in the car was injured and transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.
