Background:

Jack’s first trial as a Plaintiffs’ lawyer was a medical malpractice case, an area he had never handled before.  The case was against the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital, a level 1 trauma center.  The trial lasted 2 ½ weeks. Jack won.

Examples of results in the last year alone:

$8M settlement on a $2M policy in a boat crash resulting in a Traumatic Brain Injury labeled by one treater as “mild to moderate”.

$4M settlement where the policy limits were $5M and there were 20 other claimants in a boat collision resulting in Traumatic Brain Injury.

$1M judgement at trial with an offer of $0 by the cruise line going into the trial.

And others:

$12M settlement on a $1M policy in case where a dive boat backs over 2 divers fracturing the skull of one young diver and causing Traumatic Brain Injury and right sided paralysis.

$9M settlement of sexual and physical assault of a cruise passenger by a crewmember in the passenger’s cabin onboard.

$4.5M jury verdict for 4 ½ years of pain and suffering for an 89 year old woman who died at age 93 before the trial of causes unrelated to the car crash.  The plaintiff never testified in deposition (or trial).  And the Plaintiff’s hematologist treating her for her multiple myeloma repeatedly wrote in the records that the Plaintiff “fully recuperated from MVA” (motor vehicle accident).

Jack gets charged up about creating and executing the game plan for each of the firm’s cases, working with a team of highly motivated people at the firm, and lecturing about practice and trial tips to other trial lawyers which he does several times a year.

Jack’s accolades can be broken down into multiple areas, such as:
